Time Management and Stress

Time Management and Stress
Some Things in Life Are So Obviously Correlated

That no formal research is needed to verify their relationship. Time management and stress... even though their relationship has been verified many times and in many ways... are two such elements.

While it's true that stress doesn't necessarily adversely affect your management of time I would bet that your management of time definitely affects your stress level. To prove the point let's consider two scenarios.

Dysfunctional Time Management and Beverly's Stress Level

Beverly leaves her job at 5 pm and heads to her friendly neighborhood grocery store.

On the way there she absent-mindedly flips through her mental recipe book in the vain hope that she's able to "grab and go" when she reaches the store. When she arrives she still hasn't decided so she spends a little time wandering the aisles until she settles on hamburger helper (boy, does she ever feel like she needs helped).

Ways to Be Unique

Ways to Be Unique
Never compare yourself to anyone else. You and I are individuals. We are uniquely designed to accomplish something - a purpose - if you will. When you make comparisons, whether you're elevating yourself above another or diminishing your own self-worth, you do yourself a huge disservice.
Ways to Be Unique
Why? Because the journey you and I are on really isn't about the external but the internal. We never truly become but are in a perpetual state of becoming. It isn't about out-dueling the other guy but rather realizing our own potential - our better self - day-by-day - moment-by-moment.

Sounds a bit selfish right? Wrong! For ultimately the goal is not selfish ambition, but service. That's right service. It's about contributing to a greater good. However, we limit the extent of that, potential contribution if we have not fully developed ourselves. In other words, you cannot give what you don't possess.

Henry Ford had no one to compare his vision to - to produce inexpensive goods while, simultaneously, paying his workers "higher" wages - an unheard-of business model at the time. But he did it. And what did he "give" the world through this self- actualization? The Model T!

In Becoming A Winner

In Becoming A Winner
Looking back pre-historically, we can say that the thirst for survival is not merely to stay alive but rather to convey the supremacy of one being. Dating back as far as 600,000 years ago; the extinction of so-called Homo sapiens and other sub species has long been studied. Their patterns of living and interrelations had been delved into and looked closely. The emergence of other subspecies simply tells how early humans would display their dominance over others. Surmise to say in the case of dealing with their women and hunting for food.
In Becoming A Winner
What does it have to say in the modern times? A lot, many experts believe that man will seek greatness that to some extent; coercion plays a part. However, in a good light; becoming a winner or achieving for self-improvement empowers a person to strive for excellence.

There are various ways we can achieve to become winners in our own right. Here are some ways you can look into:
In Becoming A Winner
1. Know your strengths and weaknesses.

Finding out where your strengths and weaknesses lie is the first step to it. Determine within yourself the hidden abilities that you have and cultivate so that it can help you excel in your chosen field. Do not downplay your weaknesses but rather make this as basis where you can make a lot of room for improvement. Most people would take this lightly not knowing that this is the secret ingredient in achieving success.
